Hey Everyone, I'm new to this forum and new to Chevrolet as well. So I apologize if there is a thread or a topic on this already but I need some feedback which would be greatly appreciated. I'm contemplating and ruminating on putting stripes on my black Camaro because I feel like it's too plain and dull right now. I'm very indecisive so maybe you guys can help me with my decision, Thanks.

Matte black stripes on a black car is bad ass.

There's a black with Factory white rally stripes in our town. When it's clean it looks
great- when it's dirty, not so much.

Matte black would look good.

Ive seen a Camaro around here that's all black with blue stripes. Calipers match and looks nice.

Its yours so customize it to represent you!

I think a dark blue would look pretty sweet. Something red like the little pop on the one below would be cool, too. I think.

Matte black with gloss red borders is pretty awesome. You can carry that red accent to other parts of the car as well. Found this pic on the "stripes" thread

honestly none work great with black.

that said if you must matte is reasonable. to get an idea look at the rally edition Silverado. it comes in ( among other colors ) black with black stripes. you can't really see them a LOT but they do look pretty good on the truck. not my favorite combo tho.

do what you want. it's your car.

Thanks for the prompt responses everyone. I'm really liking the Matte black stripes on a black camaro idea, especially the one with the red borders because I'm looking for a flamboyant color, something that will capture some looks. I always do my research and homework beforehand and before I jump the gun. I was stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea, white and blue metallic. But like a few of you said it's my car so modify it the way I want, I guess I can have my cake and eat it too.

Silver or grey would look good with red border. But the Matt black on black has a real sinister cool look!
