2015s built late into 2015?

I've been looking through a lot of old threads on production totals by year, color, etc., and I think I read somewhere that production of the 2015s lasted into Oct. or Nov. of 2015, evidently due to a delay in starting the new 2016s. Was that really the case? Can anyone confirm?

I don't know.
My 2015 got registered here as a 2016, how I don't know, the vin doesn't seem to suggest a late production.
Getting any vehicle registered here as newer than it should be is very difficult if not impossible.
I'm assuming mine went unsold due to the new model, still doesn't explain it being registered as a 2016 though.

I don't know how far into 2015 they went, but I do know they started up as early as 06/14 for the '15MY which is fairly early IMO.

Production continued through the latter half of November 2015.
