I'm getting mine painted, soon to be installed, does it scare the imports & 4x4s off?

I designed my own with two position mounting points so I can play around with it on the track.
I have it all the way up all the time and have noticed a 0.8 MPG decrease on average with mostly city/heavy-traffic highway driving. On the track, my speed going into the braking zone for turn 1 at here at PIR averages about 17-20 mph slower then without the wickerbill in its highest position. I have yet to track it with it on the lower position since putting it on. Going to experiment with it this coming season. |

Basically, a wickerbill is an adjustable extension you attach to your rear spoiler. It usually has slots where the bolts attach it to the spoiler to allow you to adjust it higher or lower.
raising the wickerbill higher will increase the amount of downforce the spoiler will make, to improve handling on the track. Unfortunately, the higher the wickerbill, the more downforce, but it also increases aerodynamic drag, thus affecting your MPG to some degree. A lower (or none) wickerbill will lessen the downforce it creates, but would also lessen the aerodynamic drag, thus not affecting your MPG as much. For just a DD, a wickerbill is mainly just for looks as you probably wouldn't be driving fast enough to generate enough of an additional downforce to make a difference. |

Wow, that is a major difference. I love seeing real world examples like this.

Same.
Plus backing up sans camera is enough already without a giant chalkboard to make it worse.

Personally, I love the industrial look to it. But I did swap out the original screws from ZL1 Addons with their Wicker Bill Hardware Kit. I think it looks even better now. They have all black or stainless. You just have to order the correct hardware set as each wicker bill has a different amount of screws required. I think mine has 7 bolts. These are much nicer than the crappy screws it came with. https://zl1addons.com/products/hardware-for-wicker-bill

I can actually feel the difference above about 80 mph. Got a lap timer for this coming season so I can actually see if it helps or hurts. |
