2011 Radio reception problem

Need to let it out. My radio loses reception intermittantly and has done so since day 1. It has been to the dealer 3 time so far. 1st time can't duplicate. 2nd time can't duplicate but is probably caused by new amp or window tint on rear glass. Took the service mgr for a ride it did it but tint, aftermarket amp. 3rd time removed amp installed BA amp, tech verified problem. Tech support said to hook it to the laptop and record the reception readings. 35-60 were the readings. Tech support said that was good there was no problem. IF THERE WAS NO PROBLEM THE STATIONS WOULD STAY CLEAR AND I WOULD NOT BE HERE! .
Anyone else had this problem?

Are you talking about XM? Cause my XM has dead spots while driving around, which is why i would never buy it.
Regular radio is fine.

I've had the same issue. Before and after I replaced the stock unit. Driving down a flat rd no tree coverage and it will lose reception strength and get staticy Fm reception. I've heard reasoning like aftermarket rear window tint (had the issue BEFORE the window tint) and I've figured if I take it too the dealer the are going straight to the aftermarket stereo. So mine is going back to the installer to have the Alpine dash piece installed next month and I'm going to have him take a peek.

Update: got with customer support, so did my dealer, they say they may have a fix. Fingers crossed.
Dragon: thats exactly what happened with me. Immediately blamed the aftermarket stuff. I removed it and took it back to the dealer. They have been very helpfull though can't complain about the dealer service.
Too Cool: No its the FM, XM does it too but all my cars do, mostly around underpasses.
Jeff: Thanks for the offer but the system appears to be working so far, Austin has been helping.

I heard back today and the radio fading in and out in the camaro is perfectly normal for that vehicle.Guess if you set your standards very low it isn't hard to meet them I am completely speechless

Does anyone know how to get this to the next level?
