'13 2SS Manual Shifter- a Hurst or not? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was looking at my shifter today, and there are no markings or anything identifying if it is a Hurst shifter or not. I figured there would be a Hurst label of sorts, but nothing on the shift knob or the interior base plate to identify it. Don't want to go ripping up anything just to find out what I have unless I really have to (to put in an aftermarket shifter?). Would hate to order an aftermarket shifter if the only thing I need is the aftermarket bushings to make shifting smoother and exact.

From what I understand, the 2013's have a little hurst symbol on the back of the shift knob (facing the back seat). DO you have the window sticker? It would be on there as a $395 ish dollar option.

I looked all around the shift knob and there's nothing there. As for the window sticker, there wasn't one. I'm not in the USA. I wish I did have a build sheet. Anyway, bought new from the Chevy dealer. We also got the new center entertainment but no MyLink. Bastards...

You don't have Mylink? That is standard on the 2SS's. Weird. Must be a non-North America thing. Are you in Kuwait, what does "KU" stand for?
