BMR 1.4" Drop

So I just ordered the lowering springs for my ZL1 and I also ordered a new set of tires (315's for the rear). I guess I should of done my research first but will there be enough clearance in the rear? Also, whoever has the BMR springs installed, how is the ride on it.

Thanks in advance.

That configuration will be fine, can't answer about the ride question.

The ride is great - the softest setting on the Mag Ride feels like the old stiffest setting, if that makes sense. It's stiffer, but not too bouncy.

Hell yeah dude. I have BMR 1.4" drop springs on my car and love the crap out of them. Feels like a stock ride with better cornering. Tour mode is real soft good for long cruising on the highway, sport mode is basically the same ride maybe a tad stiffer, but you really have to think about it to notice. But your baby in track mode you can hug corners like mad. I'm still waiting on my tires to get here, 275/40/20 and 315/35/20, but I test for both sizes at a tire tracks to make sure and you will have no problem with clearance issues.

Photo is of my baby after she was lowered.

Hope this helps, Brandon

I don't have a 1LE and I do have a 1" drop in the rear and 1.4" in front. The ride is stiffer than stock. I like it but make sure you have a lid on your Starbucks cup. It's not a stock ride. Lower springs must be stiffer to keep you from bottoming out....we pay for cool! How much - I always ask! :-)

I would love to drop my car but I don't think it would survive long here in Houston if I did.

I feel the same way here in South Louisiana. Plus my front splitter already every so slightly scrapes the curb coming out of my driveway.
