I hear ya Don. be nice to see some of the local folks get together for a social occasion though. Sure wish more came to your open house. I know when I had the guys from CT and western Mass up to my house in NH, we helped them install mods and had a great time for the day. More of those types of things as opposed to formal shows is what I enjoy.

Green Hornet, I was there too for a while. Sorry I missed you.
Yea I was there early one of the first 5 cars ran. I had other things to do that day so I couldn't hang out long. Another guy I met on the fall cruise Nate went with his WS6 Trans am but I missed him too he went a little later.

When the 4th gen came out we had a huge group that would hang out for years. Saturdays at my house, sunday at the drag strip. usually 20+ people all the time. Then everyone got social media, busy all the time doing nothing..

Some Saturdays a bunch of people stop by the shop to hang out.

Haven’t been too active here since racing outlaw 10.5.
But my brother John just bought a 2016 2SS and would like to join in some of the outings. We will keep checking back from time to time.

Savage Camaros Car Club out of North Shore area of MA. holds a ton of fun events I generally tag along with them to New England Dragway there's 5 or 6 of us that go a few times a year or more.

The parameters on this forum are literally the narrowest you’ll ever see on any forum of any kind anywhere. Check out corvetteforum.com, any of the Mustang forums, or just about any other automobile forum where they’re allowed to discuss social issues of every kind which brings in more people discussing more things about everything including cars. And yes it gets ugly and people with opinions and people get called out about their bullshit and are offended.

But this forum? If it gets the slightest bit rowdy, or there’s the slightest odor of hurt feelings, side boob or politics...the powers that be exercise the “it isn’t freedom of speech because it’s a private forum” control.

It boggles the mind that not one person understands that mo’ people talking about even controversial stuff equals mo’ participation in car stuff equals mo’ fun for everyone who wants to participate equals mo’ sponsors equals mo’ money’ equals mo’ even more participants equals mo’ discounts equals mo’ members equals mo’ participants mo’mo’mo’.

Talk about horsepower? This forum has 200rwhp when it could be pushing 650.

You would NEVER, EVER see this on another forum. Not a violation of rules, but I’m banning you because I’m tired of you?

I mean I've apparently had 2 infractions the first one I have no idea what and when it was. The 2nd i deserved maybe your act and attitude is the problem. You clearly can't even make a case to defend yourself because nobody knows who you are or were. The forum is on it's downward spiral even Camaro6.com has sputtered badly it's a great source of information if you know the right people but that's about it outside of CamaroFest not much about this forum is going anymore.

It’s clear the moderators not only have an extreme and unreasonably low tolerance for anything outside of anything that’s been covered a million times...over and over and over and over...(There’s a pattern and history to prove that). they also dispense punishment whimsically and without prejudice. Let the people police them selves. The you’ll see people with 16,000 posts instead of weak ass 2000 posts and leave.

People want to discuss other things and bust balls.... get over it already. The people will gang up on the assholes and weed them out without your help.

I appreciate your sarcasm. I just saw a thread about what “color your car is”. What depths of Pentecostal hell have been reached that such a vanilla conversation is what keeps this forums heart beating? I counted less than 20 regular posters and maybe 100 people who checked in once a day... my count could be off...but these numbers are countable.

These mods and owners would rather have godlike power over few, than loosen the grip on many.
