HP Tuners new software update helps fix "rich after flash" phenomenon

Hi guys,

For those of you who tune with HP Tuners...looks like they finally found a table that causes the rich situation after flashing a new tune. They released a new version of their software that has this table available now for an E38 Camaro ECU. Go over to HP Tuners forum and you can read about it in the gen 4 sub forum.

Just FYI for everyone here.

Great news - thanks for letting us know! Now I don't have to drive for 10 minutes before logging. Fuel>General>Offset vs. Inj Temp set all to zero while tuning.

Here's the thread if anyone is interested:

And you can leave them zeroed if you have ID injectors (per ID).

Wonder if this would be true for other brands as well

I'd presume it would, if they're "substantially" bigger injectors.

bumping this because i just found out about it and its going to help a ton with getting accurate fuel trims

edit: anyone think this is the cause of the hot starting issues? dumping in fuel to cool the injectors might cause it to stumble a bit or a lot depending on what the computer thinks the injector tip temp is
