I have the old design on my rears and I think the wet weather traction for normal to slightly aggressive is really good, I'd imagine the new design would be better.

I have the old Toyos (not plus) and think they are a great all weather tire.
No complaints.

I have a set of these on my car, and I have full PFADT race suspension, a turbo, and nitrous, so they really take a beating. I think overall they are a good set of tires for an everyday driver that gets flogged every so often. The are great through the bends for an all season tire, you just have to be willing to push them. They will begin to squeal in protest long before they let go. And when they finally do let go, it's not an act of violence as it can be with some tires. Given that you are driving correctly the rear end gently slides out and is very controllable. I have only driven once with them in the snow and they preform as well as can be expected for a car a lot of power in icy conditions.

Yes that is the only place I find them online. A local tire shop can order them but they want at least $100 more than that website.

Had the Toyo proxes 4 plus installed today. put about 70 miles in constant rain 55-65 mph...then on the way back drizzle here and there 70 miles 70 mph... Very impressed by The Tires. Much more of a quiet ride.. road noise is about half of it was with the Perellis. rain traction was no problem..Very happy with my purchase. O.E. sizes installed w/ 4 wheel alignment . $858 out the door. I can post a few pics if anyone is interested what they look like on the 20"s
