new kid on the block 3rd gen issues
New to the page om picking up an 85 v6 next week the guy says itll drive about 10 miles engine light comes on then it shuts off. He said it might be a sensor jusy wanted another opinion on what the problem may be

Personally.....I wouldn't buy it until its fixed......or you know, with out a doubt what is making it throw the code and how much to get it fixed.....or you may be in for a big surprise.
oh and btw.....Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.  oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. It may sound odd but check out Thirdgen.org its a really good group when dealing with Tech issues. not so good with making friends lol

welcome my gf had a 3rd gen z28 with the same problem for years.. it ended up being mice ate a wire somewhere dont know the exact wire because it ws sold quickly after.

intake,tsp cam,full exhaust,pcmforless tune,trailing arms,toe rods. hopeing for 11.9 because my g/f said she will take the cam and the suspension back if not. |
