Mojave Mile Shootout April 10th.
Another standing mile run this year for me. Last year, the fastest standing mile I have done was a 150.7mph. That was with a stock motor with a Roto-Fab intake. This year I have installed LG Motorsports Pro Comp Long Headers with hi-flow CATs, exhaust and a tune. I also installed an MGW shifter to avoid the misshifts I had last year. All installation and tune was done thru Haddad Motorsports in Inglewood, Cali. So, I'm sure that people are wanting to know what we produced on the Dyno. I'll add photos of the Dyno sheets later and post them. Here it is....432rwhp. And I'm sure people will firebomb these numbers and what not. Fine by me, but thats what it produced. In a few days I will be out at the Mojave Airport to attempt to break the 160+mph mark. I will post results, pictures and vidz to share with you all. I will update this thread as much as possible thru out the weekend. Here is my facebook for some updates http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/disgruntle.employee

Well, the event had way too many vehicles for a one day event. Too many motorcyclist went down during the event also and one was a major one that resulted a delay of nearly 2hours. The other delays were Rookies going off the runway at the end and departing/arriving aircrrafts. I had a total of 3 runs and 1st run was 158.6 2nd run was 159.3 and final run was 157.9. I say about 85-95% of the participates made only 3 runs thru out the day. I'll post the links to the videos and post some pictures later this week. Hopefully the October event will be much better.

Nice runs.. wow so close to your mark.. what was the wind like?
Question (hope its not a dumb one) I have notice from drag racing that bad launches spinning a lot of times gives me a higher trap speed. So do you guys have a special launch for running mile when you are running for trap speed and not ET? too bad mile track near me in Maine said if over 120mph you need roll cage and fire surpression.. I dont know if I want a roll cage.

Mike, I was soo close, should've farted and would've made 160mph. Wind was variable at 3-8mph in the late afternoon but the morning runs was nice and calm. If I would've had a hot lap after my 2nd run, I think I would've had it. Temp in the morning was nice and cool and warmed up to 65 in the afternoon. I hope these links work: Run 1
