Tinting Oznium lights to color match
Hey guys, just bought some single pre wired 5050 oznium leds in super white. wondering if there is a vinyl type of tint or something i can use to put over them so they aren't so bright and also slightly blueish tint to help it match my floor lights better. thanks

Are you taking about the pre-wired round 5mms or the surface mount ones? LEDs don't get too hot, so you probably don't need hi-temp paint.
For the surface mount lights, I blacked out my taillights and side markers with some blackout film. Had some leftover and used a hole punch to make some small round circles which fit pretty well over those lights. It is sticky on one side, so it stuck right to the surface of the lights. If you have the 5mm round ones, you can probably use some spray on tint.

wow that's a great idea there. these are them here http://www.oznium.com/prewired-surface-mount-led
tech specs say 3mm height by 10 mm length/width. so not sure its the 5mm or not. says pre wired surface mount 12v 5050smd |
