Taking car to the track Friday. What to expect? (Full bolt ons + e85 M6)

What times and MPH should i expect?

Weather will be 65 degrees, 50 percent humidity and the track is near sea level (royal purple raceway, Baytown Tx)

Mods are 2" headers+ high flow cats, rotofab cai , MSD Intake, E85 with tune, Nitto 555r drag radials, Stock non Npp cutback and M6.

Again any guesses or estimates?

60' 1.8
ET 11.8
MPH 117

That's my guess, sounds like a good day to run

11.95@117 if you can get your 60ft in the 1.90's. If 1.80's in the 11.80's. Good luck

OP, same exact setup here except 1 7/8 LTs including the Nitto DRs minus E85. I was stuck in the 12.4s, with an occasional 12.3 stock.

My first outing with the new setup was a high 11.9 @118 with a very high 1.9 60'.

With 30 more HP you should see 11.7-8s @ 120 in good air and a 2.0 60'.

11.6 - 11.7 if you do your part behind the wheel.

Focus on a good launch and the numbers will follow, no lift shift will give you an edge too. Enjoy the new mods!!
60' 1.7-1.9
1/4 11.6 - 11.8 117-119

With the OPs NT 555Rs 1.7s can be very rare and 1.8s even tricky. But they are pretty safe in the rain and can last 2x over the better rubber. The every day DR, just not in the winter in cold climates.

The diff is strong. The axles can go, but then they are cheap to replace.

So no worries.

Track mode TC off. On NT555Rs my best times are after a nice burnout. Then do a 2000-2500 RPM launch with a smooth clutch release feeding as much throttle as the tires will take with only a light spin. It is much harder than it sounds. I do best when I don't over think it. The third green light is when you start releasing the clutch. People say don't worry about the RT, but for me I try to launch exactly the same each time. Some nights all of my 60s are within a tenth of each other. I am not super good at it but at least can be consistent.

If you hook you might start getting wheelhop. That is when things start breaking even with so-so tires like the NT555Rs. On a good DA night when my stock SS M6 was dipping in the 12.3s I went home, the wheelhop was getting so bad. If you feel/hear the bang back off right away. I added upper and lower BMR Trailing Arms and Upper Control Arms. Wheelhop problem solved.

Go for it and let us know how it goes!

Excellent advice by Fraxum.

OP how did it go?

My guess,
With a 2.0 60, 11.8-11.9
With a 1.9 60, 11.6-11.8
