Well I'm already aiming for a 2012 camaro, trying to save up a lot of money for a downpayment. Hope I like how it looks once it's changed because I really like it how it is now.
Any guess on how much higher the price will be on an SS or how much he Z28 might be? I like to know I have options.

im very glad that GM is deciding to change the interior of the 2012 Camaro i dont really like the interior of the 2010/2011 Camaro too much anyway but itz still a great car either way

Actualy I had an 05 S60R 6M, best intereiror I could find in 05 in Germany for under 45k. BMW, AUDI, MERC, SAB couldent come close to it at that price point.

That's why they are waiting on the Z/28, because it will be a high performance version of the new DI engines. Ford has released it's DI engines with impressive numbers and improved MPG's. They will need to make the switch across the board (trucks,SUV,RWD cars) soon so they are in place for the stricter CAFE standards. It's like when they switched from the LT to the LS series.

I'm gonna enjoy my large displacement dinosaur engine for years to come. Max might say "Last of the big V8's!"

I wouldn't count on the new DI V8 coming out next year. 2015, when the Camaro switches platforms, and after the C7 Corvettes launch with it seems more likely.

Will be intersting to see what they do to upgrade the interior though.
