Being this is a State Park it's open. I wouldn't have any problem removing barriers to do this cruise. F--- the Tyrant!

I see the new route takes us away from the river.....that's a shame because it's a beautiful drive up into New Hope.

40 cars, if everyone shows I think it will be a record! And I can't imagine keeping us all together but what the heck, you gotta' try.

Bsed on ragtopguys comment I have a Question for the group: Do you guys want to cruise up the river or backroads through Bucks County farmlands?

We'll keep the same destination, Van sant airport and im calling them today to make sure their grill is ready with some burgers and dogs. not gourmet but quick and easy to grab a bit before everyone either continues their ride or heads back home.

I changed the route again this year under my own assumption that the same ride is boring. But we get a lot of different riders and river road is beautiful, but so are the other back roads. Me, I don't care, get to ride these all the time.

1. Post up your thoughts on any route preference.
2. Enter the airport address into your GPS so we can all at least get to the endpoint.
3. We can change the route via this thread or wait until Sunday morning and make a game day decision in the parking lot.
4. For you football fans, set your DVR to record the game, doubt you'll be back by 1 PM.

My brother from Florida is visiting this weekend, so I won't make the Covered Bridge Tour this year. Have fun.

I called Van Sant Airport and they're ready for us, kielbasa and sauerkraut sammiches for $5.

If you check out their website (link on main page) it's a big day for them, they have fly-ins and a Big Band playing at 4PM. If you stay for the band at 4, admission is $15 but no admittance fee if we want to eat and leave before then.

Dani also said the local Cobra club is meeting there Sunday but should be gone before we get there. She didn't know if it was AC Cobra's or Mustang Cobras.

They'd like us to park on the LEFT side of the road as you pull in. This is the side opposite of the airstrip.

If its going to be downpours Sunday, I'd say cruise is off. But I think it's too early to make that call. Let's watch the weather and see where it goes. Last year I think it was supposed to rain all day and it was awesome.
