Well I guess if the 2016 is good enough, I'll be getting that and either keeping my 2LS or selling, definitely not going for a trade in.

I sure hope GM doesn't go overly-European in the 6th Gen Camaro look. Some of the speculations (and I know they are just that - speculation) are hideous, IMO. I also hope we have more engines for the SS (like, a Vette engine option), an eight-speed auto transmission (perhaps ridding us of the AFM), along with some sensible improvements (like height adjustable seat belts), a little more headroom for the sunroofs, factory CAI system, factory CNC Throttle Bodies, a decent sounding (and looking) factory exhaust, functional gills (or no gills at all), and so on.

It should be interesting.

Can't wait to see an LT1 powered SS on the Alpha platform. 450 HP and 3400 lbs.

One , please!

The Gen5 is a classic already. At least I was here to witness, own, and enjoy a show car with a real chassis and engine come to market. It was a perfect combination of European, Australian, and American collaboration.

I could've sworn the cursive text in your signature graphic said "Penis."

I'm looking forward to the 6th gen. After I've sat down and talked to some of the Big Dawgs at GM (can't say who) and you all know that they can't say anything about the new car. But when you see their eyes light up and they crack a smile and tell you it's going to be BAD A$$, I know they're not lying. Btw I'll keep my 5th gen too and my 6th gen will be 2017 50th anniversary edition.

Bummed that the rumors of Lime Rock Green turned out to be false.

Now, I notice that it's been dropped from the 2015 Corvette's color list.

What gives? I can't be the only person who thought that LRG was a spectacularly great color??

Oh, well, if only I had enough spending money for a '14 Vette.

I have not had the pleasure of talking about the next Camaro with anyone of authority on the matter, and even if I did, they'd stay quiet. I do know that the guys at GM that have been working on the Camaro are committed to the Camaro brand and all that it represents. That includes aggressive styling, remarkable performance, and enthusiast heritage. We will not be disappointed.

All I know is that it is going to be a very difficult task to make the 6th Gen a better looking than the 5th Gen. I just hope it's going to be an Evolution of the actual rather than a revolution.

It is awesome. They really did good things with the 5th Gen. The not so awesome part was surviving 2002-2009 without a current generation F-body. When Ford hit the market with its (rather revolutionary, I might add) new 2005 Mustang, GM was still more than 4 years away from the 5th Gen. We all got excited in 2006 when the concepts seemed to get pretty serious. The Challenger hit the market in 2009? -ish, and then the Camaro landed like a gavel.

I'm really hoping GM doesn't biff the 6th gen. They've got a formula that works, kind of like the Jeep JK, don't ruin it!!

Also, I really wanted my car made at the Oshawa plant.
Agree with all! The 5th Gen styling will always be considered the best! This is why I'm nor worried about the 6 gen
