First 50th anniversary Camaro to be auctioned at Barrett Jackson
Chevrolet is auctioning off the first retail 2017 MY Camaro - which also happens to be the first 50th Anniversary and Convertible and vin #001 - Saturday, April 9th th 5:30 PM EST at Barrett Jackson Auction, West Palm Beach, FL, lot # 3005
100% of the hammer price will benefit the United Way of SE Michigan. I wonder if anyone on here will bid and win?

I saw the Americarna special on Velocity with Ray Evernham about the Corvette museum collapse. They spent a lot of time with Rick Hendrick in his own museum.
About the only first VIN production of any Corvette or Camaro he doesn't own is the first 2009 Corvette ZR1 or Blue Devil. And that's only because GM flat out wouldn't let him buy it. His museum of first VIN Corvettes and Camaros is bigger than GM's own Herritage museum. |

Must say I was surprised to see the VIN 0001 '17 Corvette Grand Sport sell at B-J Palm Beach to someone other than Mr. Hendrick.
