chozn4service - I met and chatted with Reneau today. Let's just say that I would prefer to have "hardcore" you on my side. He spoke very highly of you.

Obviously you have never been through the mountains of west virginia. God forbid you have to pull over and find a gas station. There are good reasons for all the jokes about West Virginia.

It's not the distance, it is the location. I'd rather go to the West Coast than the "Midwest." If the drew a 750 mile circle around Indy and covered it in so the could not see anything, then scratched out everything north east of there, and picked ANY other place left on the map, I would of said "Well it's not Texas but its better than Indy." But instead, I just said "WTF?!?" And I still hope this is just a bad dream.

I survived C5F3!!!
Yes was going on the time it took me to go from Dallas to Austin and Houston is a little further south not much and little further east then Austin being west of Dallas. Just going by real time driving I did.

Scratching my head here.

I never said or even implied that you were bashing the mods in any way, shape or form. It seemed like you were bashing Texas for some of the frustration, and I was simply trying to reiterate that Texas has been a big supporter of the Fest and C5 in general. I then agreed with you that some of the posts were over the top (especially the ones bashing the mods).

Other than that I just corrected some of the information on distances and drive times.

I do have a serious question, is there a noticeable difference in having a fest in the Spring time with that number being less then a summer fest? I ask this simply do to alot of people in the northeast and midwest that are willing to drive won't because typically we are still dealing with snow and bad conditions until April most times. A lot of people in these regions don't even have their car out of storage let along ready for the car season. Just wondering, because you can't deny there are tons of cars and sales that occur more in the midwest and northeast region simply because these regions buy more American cars then the west coast and South.
