It really looks like the 2 cars were even until it started to rain. The Z28 made up a lot of ground and at one point looked like it may have inched ahead.

I'd love to see the data log of the car and particularly the IAT2....7.29min of nailing it that thing is going to be cooking bacon and eggs on the blower.

Totally agree and love to see them run the "ring" with your product installed!! That would be something to see for sure.

I'v heard tons of glowing reports on these Interchillers.

What's the downsides of running one of them?

With everything I've seen/read/researched it would be the added weight of the equipment. I hope someone speaks up and either agrees with me or points out what I missed cause being in FL, I really want one.

You can run an inter-chiller on a road course. The A/C is turned off. And even if you did keep it on the ECU is programmed to turn the A/C off during high RPM's is help eliminate HP draw on the engine.

I thought our cars already cut A/C when in WOT. Did my tuner do that without me knowing or is that not tuneable? Either way, I am fairly certain my A/C compressor goes off when WOT.

That's what he was saying, from the factory the ZL1 shuts off A/C on WOT.

Oh, I got caught up in trying to figure out what the downside of the interchiller was.

Ya sorry, I meant to say you can't run the inter-chiller on a road course due to the way the A/C works from the factory.

Well, I think the Forced Inductions Interchiller you can run on road courses. I think they have over-rides built in for that purpose. I think. I'll have to go read their threads again but I thought they adjusted for that. I would be awesome to see what kind of times the ZL1 could possible lay down if they could keep those nasty IAT2 temps down after a 7+ minute run.

From what I remember he said you have to run a separate DC electrical system to run it on a road course...
