Storm Damage :'(
Well this just sucks. Baby my car as much as possible, for a daily, and a storm ruins it anyways. $2,000 in damage and entire roof has to be repainted. Before this happened, I was thinking about painting the roof and the spoiler gloss black. What do you guys think? I'm not sure how that would blend with the sunroof. Maybe I'm wasting the slight premium I paid for for the Red Garnet? There are a couple of before pictures to show the roof.

Well that REALLY SUCKS......... I had this happen to me about 30-years ago on a brand new car - Mustang GT - hail damage. Once repaired, you could not even notice it.
Personally, I love the Red Garnet and would keep it that color, but that's just my personal opinion.......

Black roof would look terrible in my opion. Your's may be different, and you are the owner. Sorry about your misfortune though. Hope all goes well with the repairs.

I was told when I ordered my GRed that the only way to match the paint was to paint the whole car. Just passing on what I was told. Sure they can get it close if it's only the hood and they are not matching panels. Be real concerned on the C pillars though. Think I would be buying a hail proof cover.

I feel your pain. I had 4800 in hail damage with less than 5000 miles on my car. PDR did the trick and I lucked out with no repaint. Strange thing is my car got creased on the top door frame just like you picture but the paint held up.

I wrapped my roof gloss black and got a black spoiler. I get nothing but compliments. I have the black oem splitter too. My car is white not red but together that stuff makes it really pop I think. Should have the same effect on any color.

Fast forward to last month. Got a dent on the same fender. A little smaller than the dent from last year but in just about the same place. Body shop fixed the dent and only painted the fender. Matched/blended perfectly. So I think it is just a matter of finding a good painter. JMO
