Awesome write-up, FBodFather. I still have my chills and a permagrin, now with a touch of sadness mixed in for your loss.

Wow - what a post! Brought a tear to my eye. (But, it's only a car)...

Gosh I could NEVER give up my baby.
Sorry you have to.

Thanks for sharing your stories though.

“One of them takes one look at Thor --drops to his knees -- has both hands pressing against each side of his head -- and yells:

I feel like doing that every time I see her!!!

It has been one awesome summer with her. I'm sure I will have
many more as I plan to have her 'til I die.

Thanks Scott, that was an awesome post. I know exactly how you feel about your car. They develop personalities of their own and do become something more than just a car.

I'll be showing my respect, to Thor!

it is never just a car it is your best friend "the car picks the driver" and we are all touched by this car there is no other car in the world like it. i would take the camaro before i would take anything even a corvette ZR1 (i know zr1 is awesome) but to me nothing is better than the camaro. It is a car we all stand up for, if our friends tell us how much better a "insert car" is to a camaro we all block him out because we all know what he is saying is bs because no other car connects with us like the camaro, because the camaro is not just a car it is our best friends and we all know the wait and we all stand up for our car against mustangs challengers and chargers. I feel for you Scott that is a very touching story. pure passion thanks for sharing

i can fully understand how u feel Scott. I have never felt this passionate about any car i've ever owned. I have had a 68,69,73,75,95,98 and now a '10 camaro and it's the best thing i've ever purchased. i don't mind making a payment each month, because of the pure joy of ownership. It is NOT just a car, but a reflection of what GM is supposed to be. They got it absolutely right on this one. There's really no other car i can think of in 'modern history' that has illicited this much hoopla and response. Everywhere i go i get all kinds of thumbs up and attaboys. I do own a rally yellow one just like yours and i can say it's by far the best looking of all the camaros produced. It has such a 'wow' factor in the bright paint, and it's just sooo much fun to drive.
This car has very little downside to it, other than i can't leave it alone at walmart............LOL.
Scott, your post should be testimony to the fact that anyone considering buying one of these, should not hesitate and need to run to their local dealership to get one. i won't look back on my purchase and short of me dying, i plan on keeping this one til God comes back....

I don't get it. If Scott's the "FBODFATHER" why don't they just give him the car or sell it to him. After all, he is the "FBODFATHER"...right?

Can't you buy it? I sure would (even if it meant taking it out of savings)

Will you still have insider tips ?

It's great you enjoyed the very car you helped with!
