Freaking Seatbelt!!!

is only me? or the ZL1 Seatbelt is way bad designed?

I feel like strangulated, its rubbing my neck all the time.

yes, I already tried the leather strap on the left side, nothing, it keeps pressing my jugular, I’m going to black out with this thing around my neck one day. lol

it is a little tight on me as well.
I wouldn't mind lowering my seat another 1/2 - 1 inch. too bad there is no way to do that.

I drive with one hand pulling it away from chest. So it's not only you.

It could've been designed better. My main gripe is the strap harness (that is not heavy duty enough to permit looping the belt through it without fraying). It is a chore reaching for the belt; However my gripes quickly dissipates when I start working the clutch!

Read through the first post and this one. My buddies 6'3" 230 has no issues in my recaros neither does my 6'6" 240 pound brother. The layer of the 2 has borrowed my car for 2 weeks while I was out of town and told me the only complaint he had was hittin his head on the headliner.

6'3 240, seat all the way down and back. I have never noticed any discomfort from the belt.

One thing I notice is the leather strap won't stay magnetically connected holding the belt and buckle away from the door panel. Result is the door buckle scrapes against the plastic part of the door panel (close to the latch) which is kind of a bummer.

My wife had the same problem with the seat belt cutting across her neck.

Bought a set of these: http://www.masterlink.ca/Files/Docs/...er%20Flyer.pdf

Problem solved.

Google "seat belt pads". Several manufacturers.
