Replacing Convertible Backseat
Does somebody know if you replace the rear/back part of the backseat , if there are screws holing it?
I now the bottom part of the seat - cushion is just “ plugged in “ , but the backseat feels like its is mounted. I found this diagram it looks like there are screws holding it, but the seat is so tight on it , if feels mounted, don’t want to damage it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pxJ...ew?usp=sharing

Replacing Convertible Backseat

I just removed mine by removing the four 15mm bolts (2 each side) and one 18mm nut in the middle by the seat belt buckles. Then I used a flat blade screwdriver to press down on the center of each seat back to release what I’d call spring clips. They are metal and take a bit of force to release them. |

Nice ! Got the Bottom part of the seat out, but the back part of the seat feels like its still held by something else but the Clips , is it possible that the subwoofer or something else around the subwoofer is holding it? : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Gdc...ew?usp=sharing Did you have to take of the side plastic covers of the interior ? It looks like the metal assembly on the bottom is blocking the everything from coming out, I took one side off the plastic covers apart already: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bAE...ew?usp=sharing I’m not to sure if you can take out the bolds and if so, how hard it is to put them back in since there there are not Philip or Flathead and the back of it seams to be just flat also. : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bAE...ew?usp=sharing I the diagram it also looks like it will just pop out, but it doesn’t : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wse...ew?usp=sharing

There are no bolts. The 2 spring clips at the top are difficult to get to pop but you just need to work at it. The hardest part I had was one of the plastic sleeves on the bottom pins had turned so I had to get it realigned to get that side to release the bottom of the back rest.

Correct, no bolts up top. Insert a flat blade tool, I used a screwdriver, and press down and towards the front of the vehicle. I had to press harder than I thought I’d have to.

Ok got it OUT guys thank you ! … Yes was def. just the 2 tip clips being real tight….
I will post my custom seat covers here once they are done, to show what I needed to get the seat out for. Another question in the mean time.. does somebody know where the amp for the woofer is located, since I have already access to the woofer now ( it’s pretty good but can def. be a stronger one.
