I need help with color
Guys. I need help with color. I have always been a black fan but I live in the northeast. I like the IBM also though. I am doing silver stripes. I am ordering in a few weeks and already locked in a smoking deal. Anybody else have the same problem? Did you go with the blue and love it over the black? The blue seems a little more rare. So tough..

Buy two!
I think color is very much a personal choice. I thought about black, but it's so hard to keep looking clean. I went with CGM because it looks stealthy and mean (like black), but is easier to keep looking good. I like the blue too. If I had the money, I'd have more than one in a variety of colors. Good luck with your decision! |

I have the IBM and love it, but blue has always been my favorite color. I can tell you the color is so dark that it is probably just as hard to keep clean as black. I love how it shines in the light, and to the comment about buying two, when its dark or cloudy out the car looks almost black, so you get the best of both worlds. As to rarity, the last time I saw one of the threads on the sales figures, I believe IBM was the fourth rarest color choice, not including the now discontinued ABM, while black is the most popular.
Either way you go, silver stripes will look great on the car. |

There a lot more black ones than IBM and the silver stripes will look great on the blue.

I always have liked blue but this IBM is too dark for me. I went Cyber Gray because of the blue flake in the paint. Good luck with your decision.

Had one black car - it was beautiful when clean (my Sat morning routine), but drive it 5 mins and it is dirty. Have a friend with the IBM and it is sharp, the silver strips will pop. For me I fell in love with the SGM

Thanks for all the help guys. IBM it is. I had a set back tonight though. Some lady took off into traffic and I went to follow.....didnt see her slam on her brakes for no reason and rear ended her. I am praying they dont screw me on my insurance premiums for the camaro. I was getting it as my third car so it was only going to be $50 a month. I am praying they dont screw me.

CGM stripes are a factory option and don't cost any more than any of the other stripe packages. You can get them in the rally style or hood and hockey style, so you're good there. I'll see if I can find pictures of both for you. Good luck with your order!

Thanks for all your help guys. I first had black and silver picked out but so do half of the camaro's I have seen. IBM with CGM stripes it is.
