Pros & cons of HFCs or catless

I live in Florida and have no smog testing.
So I have the choice of either.
What will the difference in sound be ? Or possibly the performance ?
Some one chime in and lend me some help

no cats mean you have to have a tune, and we have to breath that air

lol ^ i feel you.

honestly i wouldnt see much gain if any was there. but i knew the sound would deff be affect.

and if he has to get hfc or catless your going to have to have LT and with LT you need a tune

so what do you mean we have to smell that air?

going catless means that all of the toxins in your exhaust go out into the atmosphere - so you get that smell of unburnt fuel and what not.

I completely agree with stieger, every car that i've heard with no cats sounds rather raspy as compared to the same but with cats

I went with off road cats on mine. People complaint of the smell but it doesn't really bother me.

IMPO it's sounds better without the cats. And plus if you go to a higher WHP set up later on the cats really don't hold up that great.

Also louder is always better.
