That would be a sick setup! The x-pipe cures the raspiness so it'll be really good!

i was thinking of doing that. and/or i can just get a OEM full SS setup and just swap certain parts you get me? the SS has a bit bigger piping. i think we are 2.25 and ss is 2.50. i dont know if the .25" really matter but you get me?

i right now have my car as this mrt 1,0. resonator delete , vr and tune and lemme tell you that im loving it man! sounds good and rides good! tooken some people pride on the street

I have a similar setup..I have MRT2 & I haven't put on the X-pipe yet...I'm waiting to hear the same setup as mine in person but with the X-pipe first...will happen at the end of the month, then I'll decide

Last time I heard and seen here on C5, going catless netted about another 6hp over HFC on a SS at that. I have to see if I can dig up the thread.

Also, going catless will definitely make your exhaust tone raspy and LOUD. However, there are a few system that has been engineered so well that it will still keep it drone and rasp free out the box with a catless header. One of that system is ARK

Here is mine with catless long tube header with custom 2.5" piping front to back finished with flowmasters. Also, mflow perforated x-pipe to keep it drone and rasp free.

Here is a little older one when I was on the dyno last year.

IMPO it's sounds better without the cats. And plus if you go to a higher WHP set up later on the cats really don't hold up that great.

Also louder is always better.
I'm with you on that. I noticed the smell the first few times then it just never bothered me again. The stock cats just won't service the heat of a front-mount or mid-mount turbo setup anyway.

I was considering having the local exhaust shop I go to fab me up some pipes to replace the "cylinder to catback" j-pipes on the LFX. Might go cat-less, but might end up buying HF cats. I've been pretty undecided like the OP

Are you coming to Cfest? You can here mine live then. Other options are come to Rodgers Chevrolet (30 miles north of the Ohio border). May 12th for the Camaro show. There are a few other places I will be thruout the summer just a matter of a couple hour drive for you?

not sure if I'm going yet or not...will depends on funding when it gets closer to fest time...I'm helping a friend put her headers on in a few weeks...she's also putting on mrt2 & the x-pipe, so I'll get to see then
