That's a lot for a lighted piece of plexiglass that doesn't do as described. I bought one last year and returned it after reading reviews like op gave.

I am the OP in this thread. We have been pretty clear about it being highly cosmetic on these cars. You are simply not going to be able to eliminate the wind in a car with a back seat.

Damn Chase. My wife wants one real bad. LOL! I'll never retire with these cars and all the mods. Can't wait to see you again in Vegas.

I have the 45th edition Convertible Camaro & with the Sport Bar on car already it just did not look good. So if you know of anyone that is looking for one that said 45th CAMARO I will gladly sell it cheap. (434) 579-2221 Michael in South Boston, VA 24592

Why not make it bigger, so it still fits with the top up?

I want one that says "Left lane for passing only" or "slower traffic move to the right"

I have one, the only problem I have is you can't clean the inside of the rear window without uninstalling it :-( I have since gotten a 2015 ZL1 with factory windscreen , I like the fact it can be removed in 30 seconds. I don't use my backseat so it works for me. Not near as cool looking though.

That is a great idea and can be done. Just give us a call.

Not likely. That is a protected trademark and to license it would likely be cost prohibitive.

Here are my Pros:
- Install is easy. I found it easier to tighten the bolts by putting the top up just shy of half way to get the support bars out of the way to help with more space.
- Wiring worried me, but the instructions they provide and also googled the specific instructions on their website and it was spot on. I just wish they made the wire about a foot longer to give some more play.
- It looks so bad ass. I wouldnt' consider this a wind restrictor in the real sense. If your looking for better wind protection in the cabin, then pick something else. IMHO, this is purely a cosmetic device.

Cons:
- It really doesn't do much to redirect wind or reduce wind much in the back seats. I didn't expect it, but that's what it's marketed as and I believe it fails in that regard.

SO that said, would I buy it again?? I think I would. It just looks so cool when lit up. I followed their instructions and tapped to the brake lights, so mine is only on when I'm applying the brakes. The instructions also show how to wire up a switch so you can turn it on and off when you like. I'm happy with how I did it and it looks great.

Some may also wonder about use with the tonneau cover. I have it and no issues there either that I've found. Since it slides in behind the tonneau bolts, they are still there to loop too.

Hope this helps.

Marvin
My brother purchased one of these for my 2012 2SS vert. It wasn't until I tried to install it that I discovered that the tonneau cover is supposed to have those tonneau cover bolts to hold the tonneau cover in place. The dealership I purchased the car from should have installed them, I guess, but they didn't and they are nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get those bolts anywhere. Two different dealerships say it's only available in the kit. If anyone can guide me to a supply of these, or even the sizes of them, I would be grateful.
