Selling MRT V2 exhaust
Looking to sell my MRT V2 exhaust. I put it on yesterday and my wife hated how loud it was so it has to go. PM or post an offer. I am in the bay area Pittsburg CA.

Another option is to add a Magnaflow resonated X-pipe. Check the V6 subforums for details and video clips.

Thanks for the tip but all videos and statements from people with the MRT V2 made it sound as if it almost no drone at 70mphbut my wife found it unbearable. I am putting stock back on tomorrow morning wish I didn't have to.

Actually there are a number of people that have not been happy with MRT V2 drone. Several members comment that it takes a few miles for it to break in and mellow out. Others have used resonated x or hemholtz pipes to reduce or eliminate drone.
Here are two thread that talk about options to reduce it: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297623 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=182467 If you do decide to sell then you might consider the Solo Mach-X in the future. Or try to find some Camaro clubs or car shows in your area to be able to hear other exhausts in person. Good luck either way! |

I thought the same thing at first, but I left it alone and after they seasoned in they were much better and I love the sound now. If you can see if she will let you wait a month or two, put as many miles on it as you can in that time and then see if its too loud.

Swap your MRT for my magnaflow custom exhaust.. its not loud at all.
No drone either, sounds like stock except when you give it gas.

You have to give it about 1000 miles to settle down a bit.
Plus add the Magnaflow X-Pipe + J-Pipes and it will be perfect.
