RotoFab ..dry or oil filter ??
Looking to get a Roto Fab for the 2014 V6... Oil or dry ??? Which one do you prefer ? Thanks

Oil is better, but if not done right can get oil on your MAF leading to problems.
Dry is just a lot simpler

Oiled filters filter and flow better than dry. That is why oiled filters dominate the performance industry. The only thing you need to do to ensure that the filter is not excessively oiled and potentially contaminate your MAF sensor is to blot it with paper towels before installing it. Very simple.

Dry filter all day long,, get a filter that is made by a good manufacturer and I can tell you not many people know how to make a dry filter that will filter and flow properly which is why they prefer to make them oiled...
look at the AMSOIL dry cone filters,, they flow much better than K&N ect.. |

You will never notice a difference between a dry filter vs an oiled filter unless you have a supercharged car, which you do not.
Dry filter is easier and cheaper to maintain Oiled filters are not very hard to clean, but as stated above if you over oil it you can ruin your mass air flow sensor. |

Dry filter that flows as good as an oiled one ? I'm all in on this if you have one ! 4" INLET 6" BASE 4" TOP 5" HEIGHT

Oiling your k&n fikter is easy. Their oil is died red. So once you rinse it clean you can see where you need to apply oil. Only apply it to the outside. Really really easy.
Once I got a MAF Code come up, and you can use "sensorclean". Got rid of my code. Go with which ever filter you want. Just dont be scared away from the oiled. They are super easy to clean.
