Did anyone else notice the Roll Cage tucked away and the Sparco's?
Those look like 305 Trofeo's, we should know. I think the smaller 6th gen makes them look wider. Nice to see the same brake hats from the gen 5 Z/28. Hopefully bring the brake replacement costs down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The real questions...will it be priced anywhere near $76K and will it be anywhere near as hardcore as the the 5th gen? It would seem not, given the lackluster sales of the 5th gen. However, if it's low $60K range then it's definitely going to take a bite out of ZL1 sales. It will be interesting to see how this plays out!

No posted lap times has me thinking this is a teaser by GM, and a smart marketing move.
That they are doing it at the 'ring shows continued commitment - awesome! The Eiffel region is beautiful - too bad the day I went there turned out to be a private test session. Damn! Had to settle for Bier, Schnitzel und Chips at the café. Italiano I'm okay with. Deutsch, not so much, "ein bier, bitte" is about it. How about a fantasy European delivery program? Pick up your Z/28 at the 'ring, or Mugello, or Spa, or ... and you tour Europe and a month later GM ships it back to the US for you? That would be sweet. The region around Lago di Como is made for anything that can handle the curves, whether 2 or 4 wheels. |

If I get the chance of being stationed in Germany, the Zed goes with me across the pond. I will drive the 'Ring, while posting the slowest time possible. I have watched too many crash videos on that track to try anything dumb. So, here is hoping that one day, I get those orders.
