Anyone planning on bringing their Camaro to Hemmings Spring Musclepalooza Sunday 5/30 at Lebanon Valley Dragstrip (upstate NY)?

Last year saw the 1st 'B5' Blue 2009 Challenger R/T 'classic' in the show, so they do have 'modern' muscle show up.

Great show, drags all day, car show, and some of the best french fries in the northeast!

A word of advice to you...if you are a 'spectator' you have to park across the road in a dirt/grass field....not the best for a brand new Camaro....I usually drive my Jeep Wrangler or Truck to the event if not showing a car....if you are showing a car, paved parking area everywhere.

Also note they will have a mobile 'chassis' dyno if you care to put your Camaro on the dyno to see what kind of power it's really making!

I went. 340 race cars and about 800 show cars.

What a show. There were several new camaro's there, both at the drags and at the car show.....I was in the crowd, and when the new SS would run and post real good times (low 13's high 12's), everyone was saying how 'fast' the new camaro's were.
There was even a v6 running mid-14's, and peoples comments were 'that's a v6 beating these old musclecars times'.....

FYI - saw new Challenger Hemis running 13.99 (plum crazy) and one new Mustang running 13.80's.....

Take that for what it's worth......driver skill was all over the map today....not to be used for 'bragging rights'....B-)

The new camaro's did a nice job representing.....i got lots of pics i'll post some when i get them downloaded....

I was there and had the worst 1/4 mile time out of all the new SS'. My trap speed was the best out of all the guys I spoke to though. My best time was 13.84 @ 108.2 mph.

I need to get the driver mod done asap. My 60 foot times were an atrocious 2.5 or worse. OMG I suck...LOL.

Oh well, first time at a track........
