How much brake fluid?
So I got a GTO Clutch Resivour while at the fest and while installing I was gonna change and bleed my brake and clutch system to get rid of my old brake fluid that is 4 years old now. My question is how much brake fluid should I buy to clean out each caliper, Brake Master Cylinder, and the clutch master cylinder? Also what fluid do you guys recommend? Right now I was looking at Amsoil DOT 4 fluid but am open to any other good fluid for street use.

I plan to use Motul 600RBF. Plan on at least 3-4 pints to fully flush everything. Me I ordered plenty of extra. I think I have 7 or 8 pints of Motul 600RBF. I need to get to the dealership to have them do an "Autobleed" with the Tech II. That's the only way to bleed the old fluid out of the abs module. The Tech II actuates the module while they have the pressure bleeder hooked up to the car. After you do that once then you could bleed the brakes on your own in the future.

you need a little over 2 pints 3 should be enough if you dont want to take it to the dealer just leave the key on that should keep the abs module active and you can bleed from there also. If you dont get it all it wont harm anything you can also buy the blue brake fluid that way when blue comes out you know for sure you got it all

2-3 pints should cover the brakes, I would add on a 4th if doing the clutch as well. We use Motul RBF600 almost exclusively. It's good stuff.

+1 for Motul RBF 600. Buy extra so you have it when you need it.
