I put my headers on with the car on jack stands their very easy to install.

If I had left out the Heat Exchanger, just gone with upper pulley only and lower priced headers I'd be in the same price range.

Kind of have to list the parts to see what your getting. 700 can be done a lot of different ways.

Here is a dyno from our last build; somewhat of an "off build" from our ZL-800 package. Keep in mind we are up in the clouds at 4500+ elevation so #s will be better at sea level.

#'s before are with bolt-ons and after was with the addition of our JDP Stage III cam package.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

To bad you guys are so far away.. But mine was done by John Page which is married to former Kerri Lingenfelter which is John's daughter and is authorized by Lingenfelter.. And Matt is one of my favorite guys to deal with there.. Wonderful tuner!! But if your close to JDP Tyler is a great guy to deal with too.. Bought some headers and other stuff from him..

As for use, it would be more of a weekend car that I would take out to enjoy as well as take to some car shows/ gatherings and to the drag strip to have some fun with a few buddies on weekends. Also, I have an auto to clarify. I would do a lot of the installs myself if I had the knowledge to do so, but I just haven't learned enough about how to work on it myself to feel comfortable with this type of car. If I did it along with someone who knew what they were doing I would enjoy doing it with them and learning along the way though. I've always wanted to learn how to work with cars.

Thanks to everyone for the input so far! It really helps!
To make 700RWHP on an auto does take a good deal of work. I know we were basically the first to do it, and about the only one to have every car built this way make over 700RWHP. The only one to date that hasn't had a smaller cam than the others to be a little mroe stealthy. Basically on our dyno a stock car makes 440-460RWHP, so you are looking at adding ~250RWHP to the car.

This would be:

Stage 2 heads
2C-HL camshaft
upgraded fuel pump
injectors
heat exchanger
headers
intake
upper and lower pulley
throttle body
and of course the necessary items to go with it, thermostat, fluids, fasteners, etc.

This does usually get you into the 11-13k territory depending on some specifics, but includes many items some deem "options" to ensure consistent performance.

Yeah, a HX would take you above that mark.

Here is a thread with a brief outline of what's included our different packages.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad we could still be a part of your build.

Tyler

Yeah,I used normal 6 ton jack stands got under the car put the header up toward the top of the engine, the header stood there the collector end sitting on the floor, went to the top and pulled the header right up,this was the easiest set of headers I've ever put in.

Didn't know it was that simple, what about the O2 sensor?

Mine is at LPE getting the 700HP+ package plus they are installing the new Magnuson Heartbeat. Should make 700rwhp without even breathing heavy. Like the idea of spinning the blower slower and making good HP. Yes, expensive! This does hurt my pride a lot because I've always done my own wrenching, but I have less time than I used to and there will be no question it will be nothing short of perfect when I get it back. History has proved the best parts in the world are useless if you can't find a good tuner, and LPE has one of the best.

Well the Kook's headers came with extensions and the O2 sensors go in after the headers are in.

I may do my own headers then and just take it to a shop for tuning. I appreciate you informing me on this subject. I didn't think it could be done on jacks

I should be 680- 700rwhp mark through an auto with no head work. I have upper and lower pulleys, intake, ported throttle body and blower snout, cam kit, injectors, and squash fuel syetem to run e85, headers and no cats. Ive got about 9k in it, thats parts and labor for shop to do everything. Ill be hitting up the dyno real soon to see exact numbers.
