I have to agree. A buddy of mine took a beater CRX and had it running real fast times for reasonably cheap. Reasonably cheap was a few thousand dollars (total investment including the car). But the car was a junker and I wouldn't want to be seen driving it. It was quick, but is was still a junker CRX. |

i actually own both i love the camaro its one of the best cars i ever owned in my 25 years but i just think a lot of people on here think the camaro is the best looking fastest toughest thing to hit the streets and if its not its because the other car cost more i like driving the camaro more because less people try to race me in it

Did not notice if you did . If you read some of the v6 vs threads they beat every thing. "Because they cant say it on the internet if its not true" . My sh!t stinks and my car is not the best or fastest .

I like the GT-R but then again I like anything fast regardless of make/model. Also, you have to figure the driver mod into it as some people are just slow no matter what car they drive. Miss a shift and you just lost even in a Lambo. Heck I saw a brand new Ferrari lose to a Mustang and SRT-4 on the same night. Why driver mod. I was present during this run and like I said it comes down to driver mod.

10k, and its full interior, no weight reduction other than the headers and exhaust are lighter than factory and my a/m wheels are lighter. runs and drives, looks performs, EXACTLY like stock. Reliable, doesn`t break. To run 10`s or faster in a civic, its does NOT drive like stock, it has stripped interior in most cases and the reliability especially with axles and idle stinks. I race plenty of these type of cars at the track and thats how they are, idle goes up and down like crazy, its got a racing seat and nothing else inside, many times no a/c and after a few passes it leaves an axle on the track. For 20k I could go faster than 8.98, but then I would have a car that runs like crap for driveability, it would have a stripped interior, and reliability would be out the window. My boy racer days are over. I want my cake and eat it too. Looks stock, runs like stock, drive to the track run 10`s, drive home smooth idle, a/c, comfort w/ no other changes than tire pressure. Can`t do that w/ a civic. You can go faster and cheaper than that civic w/ a fully race built pinto, built 351w and a lot of juice. But at the end of the day you still have a pinto...
