Yep, I see moonshine & tune during the winter. I found a pump 15 miles from my house and one 15 min from Atco.

Thanks bmorecam for your work on this.

You running that shot yet? I'm gonna play with it, and see if it will tune in with.this throttle body. It takes the computer a little bit to get used to it, when you change the jets.

No problem!

I also want to remind you guys that there is still some room for improvement. If you ever had a chance to examine the factory ignition timing map you will notice that the timing will peak around 4k rpm then it will start to drop, and we will sometimes see a difference by almost 10* by redline. You can change the ignition timing to whatever but the timing will drive according to the set factory curve which I believe need to be controlled. The torque drops along with timing creating dips and some what of a gradual down slope.

The good thing is that I think we can gain extra ponies up top and/or stabilize the torque curve if we can stabilize the timing up top. The downside of this is that we don't have an option at this point to change things as we wish. I was actually going to try this next but it look like vince has his hands full and have other things to do

This is one of the logs on e85 that should give you guys some ideas of how the factory timing curve look like. This is 3rd WOT.

Hopefully soon I can get back to it

I'm coming along. I've been dragging butt most of the summer in this heat, but it looks like I may have time to finally drill that hole in the Vararam or the intake manifold and install the nozzle. I'll also be playing with the jets due to the E85. Wish me luck.

The moonshine up north is different during the winter. From what I'm reading they go down to 70% ethanol to help the hard-start in the cold weather states, and you, sir, are in a cold weather state. I don't know when they switch to the winter blend, but it'll be something to watch for.

We are blending winter transition, in Utah. I work in a tankfield for Chevron, and we started these blends Sept. 1... Normally, we will go into winter blending around Oct. 15.

Yeah but I only ran it once and never did check the afr. I was having a major vibration problem that was consuming my attention.

Hey usa1 shoot me a PM next time you go to the strip. I haven't been since I met you like a year ago, and I've modded a lot since then. Not to mention I'd like to see you run.

Whoa.. that's not good. Wasn't the juice causing it, was it?
