COPO Hood - Like or No Like

Quick test fit of the COPO hood....I think it looks good black and might even leave it that way. Like it or too much?

Same hood Ive had on my car for a while now. I had it painted matte black.

Why do you have that much hood on your car?

That was a serious question. I didnt know if you were changing to a taller intake/elbow and needed the room.

Gotcha...if I recall correctly, at the time I ordered it we were going to be running a MAST intake with an elbow (which is fairly tall) but now we are running a simple FAST 102 intake and don't really need the room but at the end of the day I still like it so I think I will keep it.

I'd like to experiment with a sheet metal intake to see if it picks up any but we'll see down the road.

No way the Mast with an elbow would fit. My Mast ls7 with the 102mm tb mounted to the intake has very little room.

You mean won't fit with the stock hood right?

It wouldnt fit with the VFN hood you have now. That would depend on the elbow you were planning on using.

Well how does it fit under your VFN hood but wouldn't fit under mine?

I have the same hood as with the new nitrous system it will not fit under the stock hood and it also gives extra room for the F2.

I dont have an elbow on my intake. My tb is mounted vertical directly to the intake much like a carb would be.
