Since you already have 2/3 of the major police cars out there under consideration, maybe you can pick up a "used" Caprice.

All jokes aside, the folks who do own these things love them. I'm thinking about picking one up in a few years.

You can't actually buy one new unless you're a government agency. But you can buy a "used" one. There's a bunch on AutoTrader with maybe 5k miles on them for sale.

No whispers of them ever being available without 9C1/9C3 either I assume? I can't imagine it would ever sell well, even after Holden shuts down.

There used to be. They all died down.

9C3 model was canned for 2012 model year I think. Kind of annoying because now if you're interested in buying a used one you'll have to find a center console for the 9C1.

Don't Caprice's suffer from some engine issue? They are around for 26k new and I've seen them in the teens with the V6.

King Sun, I assume you're only looking at brand new cars? If not, I would suggest you consider a V8 Pontiac G8. I was looking at those before deciding to buy my Camaro.

Thinking About Cross Shopping Cars For My 31st Birthday

OP said full size, so CTS-V shouldn't be considered. I had one and adults can't use the back seats unless they are less than 5 feet tall.

So now that I have an SS sedan I felt it was way too slow in stock configuration so I had a Whipple installed.

Now I have a full size sedan that can destroy even a 2016 CTS-V (in a straight line)

Out of all the newwe model year cars I've worked on Dodge have the most minor problems, major problems and expensive problems. Their computers are junk, I've probably done 10 2008+ Dodge computers all with less than 100,000 miles and out of warranty. I don't work at a Dodge dealer so that means there are even more going bad while under warranty. I also a report showing Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler and Fiat as the 4 least reliable brands of 2014

Not brand new exactly. And also I didn't know the CTS was that small back seat wise . Thanks for the input fellas
