Oh!!! I heard they are going to be doing an event on the 29th with about 600 corvettes and CAMAROs, in a similiar style as this weekend where dealerships will try and round up people. I do not have any details b/c they do not, but I have been added to the list for that event as well. and will post the details when they are emailed to me.

sounds like it might be a tour and dinner or something.

After our dealer screwed us on the event this weekend, they put us down for the event on the 29th. No real details yet.

Dealer called Monday, left message inviting us to this weekend's event.
Knew what it was from here, told the wife ( it's her car ), she was very excited.

Called back Tuesday to confirm.
Dealer explained the whole event and then says they are full we can't go.

The wife is very disappointed.

Turns out they called 30 people for 8 spots and insisted they told us that.
They did not, and I recorded and emailed the message from our machine proving that.
The best I have gotten at this point is "We are sorry you are angry", which is not an apology at all.
I have gotten two calls to make sure we are "Completely Satisfied" after our service visit last week for a service air bag warning.

So, I'm likely looking for a new dealer on the west side for service.
One that doesn't rhyme with sandy floor.

I have similar feelings about that place as you do.

I use a chevy dealership on 96 by keystone if you know where I'm talking about. They take really good care of me and make's me wish I would have purchased from them. I have been very impressed by their service, communication, and level of expectations setting. I know that's not on the west side but the north side which is actually closer to me. Though when it comes to my "dragon" I want the best I can find for the money.

Just my 2 cents based on my experiences.

Yea, my dealership invited me about a month ago. I'll be there tomorrow and again on the 29th for a Camaro and Corvette deal. Both include VIP tent and a lap around the track. I guess there will be about 15 of us from my dealership getting a police escort to the track from Noblesville. Should be nice! Generally I'm the one leading escorts in and out from IMS. This year I get the escort.
