Trust me, I’d much rather do it myself. I have the knowledge and tools (minus a lift) but the car came with a lifetime power train warranty. So, I figured, save me the headache and have them fix it. The car only has 15,800 mile.

Plus, I don’t have the time. Working night shift for the next two months, sleep during they day, then my days off are usually spent with the wife and kids.

finished the ambient lighting. the cup holder lights came out good. still have to tweak the dash lights.

used the kit from gen5diy but one of the lights didn't work so I got more from gmparts.com. the cup holder was a made piece. got it at sjmautoprod.com

Spec, was your car already an RS with the halos? I have a pair of halo projectors sitting in the living room ready to go in and I can't for the life of me find where to tag the red and black lines to run the halos from. If you had the same kind of setup I have I'd love to know where you tied in..

I did my engine cover a few months ago but never posted it up. I did however finally get my spoiler painted. Wish I had a professional do it simply due to my cost of paint and tools, but it came out great. And painted outside a booth in the back porch.

My ride is a 1SS non-RS. When I bought the ZL1 Fascia, I also bought and installed a set of Eagle Eye's that I got from Phastek. They are not the OEM Halo headlights. The ones I have use the stock size bulbs, and have 2 wires for the halo's that can be wired to whatever circuit you like.

Well, you just sold me on doing my engine cover in red...looks nice!

Spec, I appreciate the reply. Mine aren’t specifically eagle eyes but they are the exact same setup that you describe. Where did you wire your halo wires to?

Sinister, thank you kindly. It was a fun project that really adds to the appearance without breaking the bank.
