I would probably buy two if they filed for bankruptcy.....imagine the value of a 5th gen Camaro in a couple of years if GM shut down.

It is not just on CNN. Similar stories have been posted by many news outlets. While I understand that some of this is sensationalism, if the public keeps seeing it, perception could make it reality.

It happens time and time again.

That and they have validated over and over that GM is indeed in a ton of financial trouble right now..

I would want to. But what if there were no parts five years from now? I don't think that would happen but you would have to be cautious and think about it.

I'd buy two.....imagine the value of a 5th gen Camaro in a couple of years if GM shut down. A low production, new generation car from a defunct company would bring big bucks within a short period of time.

That would be my idea. See, GM has already made it's budget through the launch of Volt. Well, technically through the campain. After Camaro hits the street, we should all move over to a volt site similar to this one and do spy shots and photo shops and gerneral discussion boards. That would help Volt take shape and be ready for the general public. Chevy needs and "It's not just a Chevy any more" type campain were they promote the patriotism of buying a American made and how it helps the OUR US economy.

If they declared bankruptcy on account of cars exploding, then no. Otherwise, yes.

I think it's safe to say that any (insert car here) enthusiast would buy that certain car.

Yes, I would definitely still buy it.
