2014 hood on a 13?
I like the extractor on the hood and was wondering if its the same fit- maybe bring a little 14 to my 13

I'm not 100% sure if it will but I wouldn't see why not. My only thought on some differences are maybe there are cowl lines in the hood to go along with the new fascia

The cowl is considerably wider on a 14 with heat extractor. The fit will be the same but the lines are way off.

Here is a 14 hood and then my car... you can see how much wider it is.

I guess you could order the extractor and just cut your hood like hex vents. Or would this not work also?

Its the small lines on the front clip that won't line up with the cowl.. thats gonna be obvious.

there are no lines on a 13 nose piece, the lines from the hood would just end, like the 13s

While it is likely to fit, the front clip won't continue the cowl lines, so it'll look like trash without some custom fabrication or a 2014 front clip.

I'm not sure but I'm thinking that the "lines" in the front clip are created by a vertical rise, meaning that the hood at the raised part will have a big vertical gap.

I was leaving a car show last night and a guy pulls in with a 2014 1LE, so I stopped him to check it out. And yes the cowl on the 2014 is wider.

the '14 extractor would probably look cool on the narrower cowl hood. I say cut your hood.
