this is all subjective depending on personal taste. Luckily there are many many wheels available for the Gen 5 to suite anyones taste. Best I've seen are some of the 22" D2 Forged wheels which are like 6k for a set! I personally think the TSW Nurburgrings look terrible, yet they are very popular.
Here are mine, I think they are perfect on my car!

I went with a set of Rohana RC7's. I love the deep concavity of these wheels. I have since painted the callipers and put on custom coloured stripes to match the wheels. I have to get some updated pics!
