How to keep frost off of your car?
So i just moved to wilmington nc form miami florida and this week i noticed that everyday there is frost on my car and i don`t like it! Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening? Will a car cover help or will the frost just make it stick to my car??PLease help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

As others said car cover will prevent frost but putting a cover on a dirty car every day can lead to scratches.

Just brainstorming here and this is probably too expensive, inefficient, and unnecessary but ... could you mount a few infrared heat lamps around the car? Those are the kind of lamps that they put over baby chicken pens or under mobile homes to thaw frozen plumbing.
Personally I don't think you should worry about it but I thought it was an interesting problem to consider... |

I don't think OP is worried. It's just a pain in the ass to defrost that crap sometimes. Windows don't index, etc.

I live in NC as well, and I just let the frost happen. If you put a cover on your car, and its dirty, you will get scratches. It defost pretty quickly once you start her up. Welcome to North Carolina

Don't they use smug pots in Florida?
 Like one said,get a cover, but make sure you have a clean car. Frost usually will happen on calm nights.

To keep side windows to index, just apply some silicone or Jig-A-Loo on the rubbers, that will to the trick at low freezing temps. For the window, start the car and let the heater do it's job. For the car itself it won't damage if the frost goes by itself. Don't try to remove it.

just use the car cover. i use it and it does a pretty good job of keeping frost off (idk it's been so cold in SoCal lately) just make sure you wipe it down before you put it on so u don't get scratches

What are you worried about with frost? Lucky you didn't move any further north. It isn't going to do anything to your car, just start it up 8 minutes earlier.
