Tint Law Question

Hey guys,

Out of curiosity... Has anyone who lives in PA had any issues with the tint law? I have a black camaro ss with 5% tint and I've been pulled over for it once, but it's my understanding that they have a very VERY poorly written tint law.

Thanks guys!

I have a buddy that has an escalade esv double limo on the back Windows and 5% on the fronts. He had never been pulled over as far as I know.

The tint law here is 70% BUT...
As far as inspection goes they can't fail you for tint, nomatter how dark it is.
The police here don't pull you over for tint, but if you get pulled over for anything else you may be slapped with a fix it ticket. (depends on the mood of the officer)

I took mine through inspection with 18% tint and they didn't bat an eye at it. As long as you don't drive like a jackhole you shouldn't have any problems with the LEOs here.

Here in Texas window tint law dictates that windows to the right and left of driver are allowed 25% or more of light transmittance from original and 25% or less of luminous reflectance value from original. The rear window tint level is exempt from regulation.
