Not at all, but I've only had mine for 10 days LOL. Honestly, the price difference (car and insurance) was not worth it to me and would most likely have been out of my budget. V6 Camaro is better than no Camaro anyday.
I came from a V6 Grand Prix w/ 200 HP, so that is a 50% bump for me...why would I need a 100% bump? It's overkill IMO, how many times can you really open it up and enjoy that extra power? Rarely for most. |

I plan to order/buy a V6 and it's not a cash thing. I keep my autos for a long time and just think the V6 will be plenty fast enough for me. Fuel won't be $2.85 a gal for ever and i want a CAMARO mostly for the style/looks

Plenty of power and drives like a dream. If you get the V8 there will still be lots of cars
that will beat you off the line no matter how much money you dump into it so whats the sense? No Regrets |

We bought the v6 for practicality reasons, she was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 8 425 hp. So had nothing to do with we could have had a V-8.
No regrets here. This car absolutely beautiful. just had her windows tinted for Mothers Day, custom stripes coming up for her Birthday!!!

oh and also there's that money thing, not only does it get much better mileage
but we're also one well placed hurricane from gas pushing $5.00/gal and you wont have to be pumping premium! If you get the V8 you do get that cool SS sticker though |

Nope picked up mine October I currently have 13k on her. I already have a 2001 Z/28 in the garage and I am planning on ordering a 2012 2SS/RS convertible to add to the stable.

I am happy with the V-6 and have no buyers remorse. The V-6 has as much power, if not more, than the small block 327 V-8 did in the older Camaros. Plus the fuel mileage is much better. The lighter weight of the V-6 provides an advantage in handling and maneuvering in the turns.
I have owned a 1966 Corvette with a large block V-8 (427ci/425hp) which had awesome straight line acceleration. But other than that, I am having just as much fun with my V-6 Camaro. |

I love my V6. It is precisely what I wanted when I ordered it, and if I could do it all over again... i wouldnt change a thing!!!
Now...that being said.... if I could have AFFORDED it..... sure I would have gotten the V8. I mean... if you are gonna do it... go big or go home.. rite?? But that would raise the cost of insurance, and of course gas. So it just wasnt an option for me. But rite now the 312hp is plenty (considering half the year it has winter tires on), and when GM redesigns their V8 engines, then i'll reconsider. But until then... im really happy to have the more advanced engine, with the lighter, better balanced car. And IMO... I've never liked the "mail slot." But when the Z/28 comes out.... i'll probably be singing a different tune!!

I have no regrets at all. I was in the market for a V-6 sports car. I went to the Ford dealer to order a 2011 V-6 Mustang and ended up at the Chevy dealer getting a 1LT. I have had over 15 cars as my daily driver in the last 30 years or so and the Camaro is the best hands down. I plan on keeping it for a long time and have no concerns about driving it come winter. We are all very lucky to be living at a time where we have the choice of owning a Camaro...V-6 or V-8.

no regrets at all, its what i wanted. i have had many v8's in the past and this time i was thinking more of what i wanted rather than what everyone said i should get. it has more than enough power for what i need. and besides the car is beautiful regardless of what engine you decided on. i have had way more complements on the look and styling of the camaro as i'm sure everyone else has, not many people i see on the street look under the hood. buy what makes you happy, not what makes others happy. if you want the v8 get the v8, if your like me and happy with the v6 then enjoy it.

Hate to say it but if you are "thinking about the V8 a lot", you will continue to until it drives you mad. Soon you'll just feel awkward in it.
My dealer said he had a few v6s traded in for an 8. |
