My modded bolt on L99 with 137,000 miles has the stock AFM lifters still. So I do tend to baby her most times and will not go near redline. But I do have my occasional fun and I drive using TapShift probably 99% of the time. I just try to keep the downshifting limited to below 3k rpm and don't upshift past 5k.
I know this doesn't sound like much fun, but I already feel I am on borrowed time with these lifters. This will all change once I cam/lifter swap.

This. I enjoy driving my car, rowing through the gears and listing to the engine rev. Usually, I’ll shift around 4K.

I avoid beating on either car. The speed limit where I do the majority of my driving is 45mph. I do enjoy doing light pulls, about a half pedal to about 5-10 over. I do spend most of my driving with the Sedan. Most folks think it's an Impala, and the rest have no idea at all. The looks on their faces when they hear it is always priceless.
