What Would You Say?
The fact that the (current) Camaro is assembled in Canada and not the US doesn't really bother me, (they seemed to have done a very good job) but sometimes relentless comments from some people on the matter can be annoying.
 What is a good comeback response to someone who is critical of your car and says that the Camaro is not an American "muscle" car, but a "Canadian Leaf" car?  Have you gotten these kinds of comments before? How would/did you respond?

usually I tell them that given the current work ethic of Americans along with the propensity to intentionally do a poor job if they're unhappy about a contract or bonus; that I'm glad it's not assembled in the US.
I really don't prefer my car be built in an American unionized plant where the employees can't be fired no matter how incompetent or lazy they are. |

There is no such thing as a 100% US built car these days.
Even for those vehicles assembled in the states, there are parts coming from all over the world. Oh, and the 4th Gen Camaro was also built in Canada. It's not a big deal, since no matter where automobiles are produced, the modern automobile assembly process is pretty much standardized across the industry.

Well, just don't tell the Dodge truck guys that their V6 is a Mitsubishi engine (true) and don't tell the Harley riding guys that their bikes have Japanese parts on them (the wire wheels, true) and you should be ok.
