grease of some sort. You can't feel it on the rotor. One or two applications of the brakes and they will be gone. If you feel more comfortable, I would be happy to clean them up and attach another picture.

EDIT: Took a green scrubby and some brake clean to it for about 30 seconds. See attached picture. Also attached the last picture of when I had them on the car.

I failed to mention this before. I used to do track days with my SS (as in the Holden built Sedan) and cooked a set of stock two piece rotors (ZL1), and a set of powerstop rotors over 2 days. When I got home I called around and finally got an engineer at Stoptech on the phone, explained what I was doing with the car, and he assured me I would not cook these rotors. I never got the opportunity to test his claim, but these are by no means low quality rotors. If these didn't work, my next step was to get some CCBs, but decided to get my Z06 instead. Brake Late! Brake Hard!
