Question Abnormal vs normal paint chipping

Hey guys,

Long story short I’m pretty sure that I got this part of my door repainted because the lower area was dented so I took it to a body shop to get it fixed. I have yet to call and clarify however today I noticed out of no where that my paint is chipped! At first I thought it was somebody trying to mess with my car (has happened before) however now I am not sure.

Does anyone know if this sort of chipping is normal? Possibly a bad spray or incompatible mix? By no means am I a cosmetic guru. This is my 2011 maro my baby please help thank you!

I can't help with answering your questions, but I think you posted this in the wrong section.

Looks to be paint that is failing likely do to bad prep, when was the reaspray? I would be taking that back in a heart beat. They should, assuming reputable shop, take care of that.

Yup, Paint only comes off a car prematurely for one reason, bad prep.
