Hey guys Just tossing this out there my first time drag racing was @ Camarofest I got 4 runs in there on the 4th run I broke into the 11's being the first 6th gen v6 camaro in the 11's I was also the first in the 12's. My whole goal was to get into the 11's @ camarofest and continue to improve since I am new to Drag Racing. on my 11.8 @ 122 MPH run my car rubbed through rear harness and threw a bunch of codes.. So I was done at camarofest sadly..

I got home repaired and relocated the harness and got back out last friday for a few more runs to practice @ test and tune night. First Run out I ran a 11.77 @ 122.. with a 1.98 60ft.

Place was packed so I only got one more run in and raced a 18 mustang gt350 for fun he is a new racer as well and has no seat time.. Got a decent launch and ran 11.587@122 Breaking my own record @ camarofest with a 1.863 60ft I am still learning how to launch but I knew on this run right from the launch it was good.

I figured I would toss up my crappy video here maybe some will enjoy it. There is inside and outside footage of the race.

Nice! You sounded good. I’d love to hear a pure exhaust sound without all the bkg noise going on. A v6 with a supercharger... gez. Awesome!

Yeah it sounds pretty good sunrises alot of people of course video audio quality is bad but gives the effect.

This is quite amazing. It was a consideration to keep my V6 and S/C it. Those 3.6's are quite capable motors. Just wondering are you also using an intercooler? on e85? meth injection? How are you handling detonation and does it retain all street manners?

Also do you think you can get more out of it or is it maxed out?

All of the above lol and street manners are normal other then traction especially on the stage 1 kit

As for power im at 460/380 The car is capable of more even on the SBE however I am new to drag racing and want to get comfortable with what it has instead of just continually upgrading and not driving the car. I am working with a couple people for some possibilities torque converter upgrades forged parts etc.. Just taking it one step at a time and learning understanding it all.

Really cool! Your V6 is running with the ZL1s for less hopefully.

Probably faster in good air. Do you get any where you run?
